People are fascinating individuals. Built up of stories, flaws, fears, dreams, and hidden scars. We all walk among each other but don’t know the depths of someone’s being.
You may notice the scar on their arm or the fading bruise. You can fantasize a story behind the scars and bruise. It can be wildly epic or morbidly dark. Either way unless a conversation is actually happening you will never know.
That is what’s so great about us all, we are full of these stories but people are too busy to care. In a world where everything is at our finger tips no one has time to listen to the details. Most people want to google the ending and say they understand. If I’ve learned anything in the past 24 years of my life it’s that the small intimate details are the most important. The dress you wore, the color of your nails, and the small smile you shared with the boy you like.
Embrace the smiles, the hugs, the tears, the anxiety, the doubts, the laughter, the hate, and the comfort. All of these experiences no matter how bad or good it is makes up your story. Don’t rush to the end enjoy the middle chapters, reread the beginning to remind yourself how you got here and remember all good things come to an end.
When it’s over; there’s always a new beginning.
